A few kilometres from Villaviciosa, at Casquita, the path splits: towards Oviedo or towards Gijón. Via Gijón you climb to the Alto de La Cruz and descend through Deva to the city and San Lorenzo beach.

Via Oviedo you see the cathedral of San Salvador and can carry on along the Primitivo. Decide before Casquita.
