The Compostela
To get the Compostela you must walk at least the last 100 km. Tui, on the Miño opposite Valença, is about 115 km from Santiago: six stages, and the most popular starting point in Galicia.
From Porto it is about 240 km, 10 to 12 days. It is the most popular option for anyone with a couple of weeks.
