The last stage. You skirt the airport, pass through Lavacolla, where pilgrims used to wash before arriving, and from Monte do Gozo you see the cathedral towers for the first time. Then the city, the old town and the bagpipes under the arch of the Gelmírez Palace as you walk into the Obradoiro.

Past the Galician television studios you climb the hill, with the monument to the papal visit and the view of the city.
Down through San Lázaro and the city streets to the Porta do Camiño, the Rúa das Casas Reais and the Praza do Obradoiro.
Tips
You collect it at the Pilgrim Office on Rúa das Carretas, with your stamped credential. Fill in the online registration first to save queuing.
It is held every day in the cathedral. The botafumeiro only swings on special dates or when someone pays for it.
Many pilgrims keep walking for three or four days to the end of the world. Suseia plans that epilogue too.
