A short, flat stage through Tierra de Campos. Most of the way is a path beside the road, but it is worth it for Villalcázar de Sirga and its huge Templar church of Santa María la Blanca.

Less than 50 m of climbing in the whole stage. There is a variant via Villovieco, beside the river Ucieza, prettier and a little longer.

A final straight stretch beside the road to Carrión, a town of churches and convents.
Tips
From Población de Campos, the path via Villovieco follows the Ucieza among poplars. It is quieter than the roadside path.
The nuns at the Santa María albergue often sing with pilgrims in the evening.
